Background.
PAM's architects and ACEM's engineers jointly founded Greenbuildingindex Sdn Bhd in February 2009. The purpose of the formation was to develop and drive a more sustainable and green architecture due to an increasing demand from building end-users for Green-rated buildings.

Why Green Building?
A Green building focuses on increasing the efficiency of resource use such as energy, water, and materials while reducing building impact on human health and the environment during the building's lifecycle. This is achieved through better sitting, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and removal. Green Buildings should be designed and operated to reduce the overall impact of the built environment on its surroundings.
